The Association Partner Portal

For October 2019, one of the projects I worked on was for The Association Partner, who were building a portal page for clients to send and schedule art for advertising using the WordPress plugin Registration Magic. It’s a nice plugin but can be a little tricky when it comes to styling. The client had already installed Elementor and I needed to create a stylized theme for the project. I came across the Astra theme which had a lot of interesting components that could be re-used creatively, so I began with that as a my base and then rebuilt the page from the core elements.

I hadn’t spent a lot of time with Elementor previously but came away from the project with a new appreciation for this page-building tool that gives a lot of core functionality even in the free version.

The client was impressed and hired me for an additional project after this was completed.
